Katie grew up in Bend and loves the area.

She has a background in mental health, but the I/DD population has been her focus for many years. Full Access High Desert has been a means to advocate for this community, and she has been grateful for the education and opportunities this population has provided.

Katie enjoys being an assessor, since she gets to meet new people, revisit familiar faces, and participate in valuable discussions to help folks meet their needs. She appreciates it when assessments are more than just information-gathering and include family stories, jokes, and laughter.

When Katie isn’t traveling to some far-off land, she enjoys reading, watching movies, camping, walking with her dog, and listening and playing music.
